DIY - WHIPPED SHEA BUTTER!
Shea butter is a natural hair conditioner and moisturizer. It can be found largely in west africa and in this part of the world it's been used as hair and body cream, its also therapeutic.
Some of the uses of Shea butter
- it provides moisture for dry scalp.
- It's a good sealant ( helps lock and retain moisture)
- Helps product hair from damages caused by sunlight.
- Softens hair.
Shea butter in it's natural state can be annoying, because it's so firm and we mostly find it hard to distribute evenly. In today's post, am going to be sharing how to whip your Shea butter, which makes it fluffy and easier to apply..
Prep time. : 20mins
Amount spent. : 200 naira
Things needed
-. Shea butter
-. carriers ( essential oils)
-. hand mixer
-. Bowl
-. container
DIRECTIONS
Scoop your natural butter in a bowl, add your oils( I used coconut, almond and olive extra virgin oil) generously.
Set your hand mixer to fast and mix for about 10 mins( depending on the quantity of your Shea butter).
Mix till.it becomes fluffy( ice cream like), not liquid, not solid..After whipping, your Shea butter becomes twice the original size,so, make sure you have a container that's big enough at hand.
Scoop, into your container with a spoon and store in a cool dry place.. Do not refrigerate.
Whipped Shea butter, if properly stored could use up to a year!
NB= you can mix some more if you think it isn't fluffy enough. I would have loved to mix so more but PHCN had to show themselves..
Your Shea butter annoys you because it's lumpy, looks local or you are just the type that likes to "tush up" or loves your things looking fancy? Instead of spending a fortune to get this( got mine for 1300) why not try DIY...

KILONSHELE
Hello! How are you guys doing? Hope you all had a fun and splendid weekend and if your's was boring like mine, not to worry, atleast you are alive and healthy enough to read this. So, do the "God win dance"!
By the way, have you guys seen the video? I think it's alright but below expection. Am I the only one that dint expect the video to do justice to the song? I mean, what hit song as ever had a good enough video, remember Doro, Skelewu? But that "God win dance", yes now, that one that made them look like "pepeye" is so cute and I think it really soothe the phrase cause it looks like a dance one would do when happy.
Find video below...
Hmmm, beautiful actress abi former actress and wife of a billionaire, Caroline Danjuma had this to say on IG..
LOL......Pot calling kettle black abi what are we going to call this? Her words are so true, do not get me wrong but they shouldn't be coming from her lips! For heaven's sake, She is the 2nd wife to a man that is like 30years or more older than she is and with children! So, what is she talking about. Isn't she familiar with the saying "those who live in glass house don't throw stones"!
So, dearest Mrs Danjuma, when next you come to this world as a beautiful girl, marry a guy in your age group or atleast be someone's first wife, then, you can tweet or post this and we would nod and give u a pat on the back!
How I love weddings, my favourite part is the proposal and I check blogs, youtube for proposal videos! Well, on one of my sojourns, look what I found.
No words, just LOL.......
Thoughts or opinions on anything? I would love to read them at the comment section...

SISI OGE!
She is a Nigerian award winning actress from Akwa Ibom state. She became an household name in 2008. She got married to her childhood love and doctor husband on a val's day. She made up her mind about going natural while preparing for a Kunkle Afolayan movie. Her character was suppose to be on dreads.
Since she went natural, she has attended every show and award rocking her natural hair. Her growth is crazy,to think her hair isn't even up to 2yrs...
Find pictures of her below..
